PHILADELPHIA (January 6, 2022) — “The events on January 6, 2021 did not disrupt our nation’s ability to conduct free and fair elections. One year after the violent insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, and more than a year after the 2020 election, Verified Voting remains committed to making sure that every vote is counted as cast.”

“For more than a decade, we have worked to promote reliable, legitimate elections, using technology that can be verified and procedures that carefully and transparently carry out that appropriate verification. We have done so for the specific purpose that voters and the public at large can have justified confidence in the accuracy of the outcome.”

“As we enter another election year it is important to remember that there was no evidence of widespread fraud during the 2020 election and election security experts agree it was the most secure in modern history. In 2022 the stakes are high. Nonpartisan evidence-based, post-election audits that demonstrate how we know the winner won and the loser lost are more important than ever. Verified Voting is committed to truth, accuracy and keeping our elections secure.”
