Voting Equipment Database – Robis AskED ePollbook

The Robis AskED ePollbook is an electronic poll book system that runs on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) laptops or tablets. The system is intended to replace printed paper poll books by allowing poll workers to answer yes or no questions to determine each voters’ eligibility, determine each voter’s correct ballot style, and determine whether a voter must complete any required paperwork. The AskED Command Center allows election officials to see what is happening at every polling place location, the status of each ePollbook, voter turnout by polling place, provisional ballot counts, and the jurisdiction’s complete voter roster. When the application is run on a laptop, the ePollbook setup includes a barcode scanning gun and a signature pad. If a jurisdiction is running the application on a tablet, a barcode scanner is integrated into the tablet and signatures can be entered directly on the ePollbook’s screen. The AskED epollbook application can be configured to work with a ballot on-demand printer and a COTS printer for printing directions

Voting Equipment Database – ES&S ExpressPoll

The Election Systems & Software ExpressPoll is an electronic poll book used in place of printed paper poll books. The ExpressPoll software runs on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tablets. In 2015, ES&S introduced the ExpressPoll tablet with an integrated stand, which has an internal USB hub to connect to the ExpressPass printer and a built-in infrared barcode scanner. ExpressPoll software holds registered voter data for a designated precinct, polling place, and county, and also includes the ES&S-provided statewide voter registration database.

Voting Equipment Database – KNOWiNK Poll Pad

KNOWiNK’s Poll Pad is used in place of paper poll books to check in voters, see whether they have already received or voted a mail ballot, and direct them to their correct polling place if they are in the wrong location. The Poll Pad software runs on commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) tablets. The tablet is connected to its base by a stand arm, which allows the tablet to be swiveled to face the poll worker or voter.
